Gustavo Santaolalla: The Last of Us & Babel

As soon as I watched a trailer for The Last of Us I immediately thought how familiar the music sounded – as well as how cool the game looked of course! Well it turns out the composer also wrote the music for Babel, a film I watched at school a few years ago and came away thinking what a lovely soundtrack it had! 1. I’m not a huge fan of The Last of Us – not the type of game I usually play (for multiple reasons). I have to admit though, the music is pretty good. Music really defines a game, and award winning composers make a game that much better.
